Benjy M. Corpuz is an accomplished and well-seasoned Immigration Attorney with more than 20 years of extensive experience in complex immigration cases involving individual clients, companies, and their families. He is trustworthy with a solid mix of foresight, strategic business acumen, uncompromising work, and professional ethics. During the 6 years before going into solo practice, he worked at Bruno, Gerbino, and Soriano LLP in Melville, NY as a Senior Associate. After that, he was In-House Counsel of AIG in Duffy Avenue, Hicksville, NY, with Bryan Rothenberg Law Offices. Those early-work experiences laid the foundation for his strong work ethic and drove him to provide quality-client care.
In 2007, he started CORPUZ AND ASSOCIATES, P.C. Benjy’s practice primarily focuses on employment and family-based immigration cases. With the personal nature of each case, he provides each client with the utmost personal attention. He is responsive and reachable, typically responding the same day or the following day. Clients have direct and ongoing contact with him until the completion of each case.
Benjy strives to minimize his clients’ fears and anxieties throughout the immigration process and guides them through each step. Before each interview, he prepares clients personally or through virtual means of communication like Zoom, WebEx, Viber, Skype, telephone, and other alternative methods. The firm engages with foreign attorneys and consultants in countries such as the Philippines, India, Mexico, and Bahrain for guidance on local procedures such as obtaining required country-specific documents, and for general client assistance like organizing interview documents, and vaccination and medical appointments for physical examinations.
Benjy is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the State of New York. He is also admitted to practice law in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is authorized to practice US Immigration Law in all 50 states under 8 CFR §§ 103.2 & 292.1.
